In today's BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, and Incomprehensible) world, goods—regardless of where they are manufactured—need to be transported in a cost-efficient, sustainable, and timely manner. As companies expand and the demand for efficiency increases, the significance of having a robust logistics and distribution system cannot be overstated.  Just a pictorial representation on importance of logistics      So, with logistics being the backbone of any organization, I am just penning down by few thoughts on how important its going to be for any organizational setup.  The Pulse of the Global Supply Chain  Logistics refers to the planning, execution, and management of the movement and storage of goods, information, and resources from origin to consumption.
